When will my order ship?

Pieces that we have in stock usually ship within 24 hours and quite often we’re able to get it shipped the same day. For made to order pieces, we will email you as soon as it is completed and get it shipped as soon as possible.

What shipping carriers do you use?

Domestic shipments, we use the United States Postal Service (USPS) and UPS. For international shipping, we offer USPS Priority International Mail and DHL Express. Your cart will show real-time shipping charges for your country. For more details, see our Shipping & Returns.

Update: We are currently having issues with customs in certain countries charging much higher rates when using Direct Link (part of Post Nord), so we've temporarily removed this shipping option until further notice.

I'm a little nervous about ordering a ring. How can I make sure it will fit correctly?

We understand your hesitation in ordering rings online. They can sometimes be a little difficult to size, since you can’t try them on before buying. We do offer a ring sizer you can purchase for $2.00 that works fairly well for sizing standard ring widths, however, if you’re interested in a wider band ring, it’s recommended that you add a half to full size (depending on how wide the ring is) to accommodate for the extra width. Best case scenario would be to go to your local jeweler to be sized, but remember to tell them exactly how wide the ring will be. In any event, we will do our best to get your ring to fit comfortably. Note: Keep in mind certain conditions can have an effect on the fit of your ring. For instance, hot weather and salt intake can cause your fingers to swell on occasion.

My jewelry doesn't look quite as good as when I bought it. How do I get that contemporary brushed finish back?

One nice feature of our jewelry is that most of our pieces have a brushed finish, which makes getting it back to its “like new” status (while also removing light scratches) fairly easy. Remember too, that we offer FREE lifetime cleaning and re-oxidizing (blackening) for your pieces. Just contact us for the mailing address and all you pay is shipping to us and we’ll take care of the return shipping! First class shipping for US residents only. International customers are responsible for return shipping, however, we will do our best to keep your cost as low as possible.

The oxidized (blackened) part of my jewelry has faded. Can you re-oxidize it?

Yes! We offer FREE lifetime cleaning of any piece you purchase, which includes re-oxidizing. Just contact us for the mailing address and all you pay is shipping to us and we’ll take care of the return shipping! First class shipping for US residents only. International customers are responsible for return shipping, however, we will do our best to keep your cost as low as possible.

Do you offer custom chain lengths?

Certain pieces are available in different lengths and will have that information displayed in the listing. If there is a necklace that you would truly prefer in another length, please contact us and we can see what we can do. See our JEWELRY SIZING GUIDE for examples of various chain lengths.

I received an Element Cottage (formerly Susan Rice Designs) piece of jewelry as a gift, but it doesn't fit. Can I exchange it?

Sure. As long as it is in new, unworn condition and we show it was purchased as a gift from our website, we will give you a store credit in that amount. If it was purchased from an in-person event, please contact us.

I saw a jewelry piece on your Instagram page, but I can't find it on the website.

Our Instagram page shows a variety of pieces that we’re either working on, offering a sneak peek of a new line, or sometimes we’re testing a piece out to see if it’s something we want to start selling. If you see something you like, just drop us a line here and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

Do you offer a multi-payment format?

Do you charge sales tax?

Arizona is currently an Origin-Based Sales Tax State, meaning sales tax is based on the location of the seller, which in our case, is Mesa, Arizona. Therefore residents of the state of Arizona will be charged 8.3% sales tax.
